Christmastown Log! (Hotsprings)

The hotsprings aren't exactly what you'd expect at the north pole, but it beats having to set up a water heater for the workshop. ♥ Open to guests for tonight, the hot water releases a haze among the snowbanks, counterpoint to the cold weather. There are towels handy for people getting out.

Huh? *turns round* Oh, hey! Yeah, I'm fine - I land in water a lot! *laughs*

*swims over and leans on the side of the spring* You're Colette, right? Nice to meet you, y'know, for real.

*Colette giggles* Really? Well, at least you landed in warm water and not freezing water...I'm surprised the water is so hot.

*leads foward and smiles* Yep, that's me. You are Tidus right?

Heh, yeah. Cold water's not fun most of the time.
*thinks* I dunno. Maybe we can ask that guy who's throwing the party? Zack, I think.
*grins* Hey, how do you know how hot it is? Have you been in them already?

Yeah! *smiles and holds out a (dripping wet) hand*

*giggles* No, I can just see how warm it is.

*looks down at the wet hand* Do you want me to come in too? In my clothes?

*laughs* No,no, I meant to shake hands!

*thoughtful* You could come in if you wanted to, though. I mean it looks kinda, uh, freezing out there, and it's warm in the water. It might be a bit cold when you get out, though!

Oh, okay *shakes Tidus' hand*

The water looks really warm *puts her hand in the water* Wow, it really is. Too bad I don't have a swimsuit or something.

Yeah...hey! I bet there's somewhere you could get one here! I mean, they wouldn't have these cool hot springs if the people who lived here couldn't get swimsuits and stuff, right? So there'll totally be a swimsuit shop or something!

((*FLASHING BACK TO ALL THE FETCH QUESTS IN FFX XD*))

That would be a good idea! I wonder where it would be though...I've never been to Christmastown before...

((Needs to still play FFX! *sighs*))

*cheerfully* Me either! I'll be an adventure!

*climbs out of the hot spring and shivers* Ack, I was right, it's COLD out here now. *shakes the water off (or at least most of it)*

*Colette laughs at his attempts to shake the water off, and steps out of the way so she won't get wet*

Make sure you don't get a cold or anything. There are towels over there *points towards the towels* just in case you need one.

Where should we begin to look?

*grin* I'll be OK in a minute, and hey - walking warms you up, yeah?

Hmmm...where's got the most buildings? Like, the town square or something?

*walks with Tidus* There might be something around here, since it's near the hot springs. Best place to buy a swim suit.

*begins to look around*

*sudden thought* Hey, do you have any Gil with you? 'Cause, uh, I don't, and we'll need to buy it...

Gil? Is that your money from your world?

*digs in her pockets* I have Glad...what kind of money does this world take?

Yeah, I guess. So other worlds have different money...

I...have no idea. *sighs* Sorry, Colette. Looks like we won't be able to get you any swimming stuff. Maybe we can find something else to do - unless you want to jump in in your clothes!

*looks down at her clothes* I only have one set of clothes.

I wish we could find *looks over to find a building that has swimsuits hanging from the windows, points* Hey look! Swim suits!

*runs over*

*catches up* Think you can charm a freebie outta the shopkeeper? *grin*

*picks out a swim suit*

*walks away from Tidus and talks to the shopkeeper, all of a sudden she shows the shopkeeper her wings, his eyes widen. He shakes his head as Colette walks away* I told him I was an angel and he said if I could prove it, I could get the suit for free!

*walks out of the store* Let me go change, and we can go in the water! *walks away to go change*

*watching as Colette wins over the shopkeeper* Woah, wings?! Awesome!

Way to go, Colette! *!* Wait, an angel...? *follows her out of the store and leans against the wall waiting for her*

*walks back out, carrying her clothes, still borrowing Ed's jacket, she wears that over her swim suit* Yeah, I'm an angel. It's not all that it's cracked up to be though.

*walks over to the springs* Shall we go in?

*follows* Not all it's cracked up to be...? Can't you fly or...or shoot thunderbolts or something? That seems pretty cool!

*O WAIT SWIMMING YAY* Yeah! That's what we're here for! *grins at her, then vaults into the water causing a minor tidal wave to sloosh over the side*

*puts hands up as a wall of water crashes down on her* Whoa. That was huge!

*sets her clothes down and takes off the jacket, she is not totally comfortable wearing a swim suit, and crosses her arms around her chest* I can fly, and I can some angel attacks.

*slowly steps into the hot spring, she breathes out a relaxed sigh* This is nice.

*sees her get wave'd* Ahehe, sorry! You're getting wet anyway though, right~?

Now see, that's cool! You can FLY! And- what kind of angel attacks?

*sits back* Yeah. I always feel more comfortable in the water...

*crosses her arms over her chest* I can fly. I don't really use my wings so much though. I rather fly with the rheaird then with my wings.

My angel attacks are more like magic attacks. They are chants that I learned and I am able to do really powerful attacks.

*Colette starts to become more comfortable and begins to lightly splash the water with her hands* How come you are more comfortable in water?

What's a rheaird? How come it's better than wings? Wings look AWESOME.

Sounds fun. Were they hard to get, or were you just born with them?

*sinks deeper, up to his chin in water* I dunno. I guess it's just 'cause I've always been in and out of water. And, y'know, before the whole Sin thing, I was a Blitzer, so I was almost always swimming - practicing, games and stuff... it almost feels like home, 'cause it's pretty much the one thing that every time has. I guess the same's true for worlds?
